CPP (Canadian Pension Plan).

Everyone gets a unique amount of CPP, based on the amount they contribute to CPP while working. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out.

OAS (Old Age Security).

OAS is a monthly benefit available to anyone age 65 or older.

If you happen to be a senior whose income is below a certain amount, the OAS will also include the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS). OAS payment amounts are based on your age, how long you’ve lived in Canada and your income.
